An existing ground floor medical facility was gutted and renovated to create a pediatric otorhinolaryngology clinic for three doctors and their staff. The atmosphere of the facility was required to be non-threatening for children, and was designed with this requirement in mind. An intimidating institutional environment was avoided by introducing bright colors and forms derived from children’s toy blocks.

Programatically, the facility contains three consultation rooms, four exam rooms, billing, reception, waiting, medical records area, bathroom and shower facilities as well as a staff lounge.
